АТС host на ЕА МАС Committee

The Accreditation Body of Serbia (ATS) had the honor of hosting the 48th Committee for Multilateral Agreement European Organization for Accreditation – MEETING OF THE MULTILATERAL COUNCIL FOR AGREEMENT ON EA (MAC). The session of the Committee was held on April 26th and 27th, 2023 in a pleasant and working atmosphere in the Nikola Tesla restaurant in the METROPOL PALACE hotel in Belgrade. This year’s meeting of the Committee brought together 60 representative members of the EA, from over 40 countries, as well as a representative of the MAC Management Group.

Acting The director of the ATS, Dragan Pušara, M.Sc., opened the meeting and spoke about the exceptional importance and role of the EA MAC Committee.
The EA MAC Committee is responsible for the effective and impartial implementation and practice of the offensive evaluation process. The competence of the Committee is, among other things, to make decisions regarding the status of signatories to EA multilateral agreements (EA MLA) in relation to mandatory structural evaluations, as well as to report to the EA General Assembly on all decisions. The chairperson of this Committee is Maria Papatsikou from the Greek Accreditation Body (ESYD).
The Committee for Multilateral Agreements also deals with future policies and operational procedures within the EA in relation to enhanced evaluations, as well as the management, selection and training of future available evaluators.
