CABs Digital Maturity Survey Results

The Accreditation Institute of the Republic of North Macedonia, like all national accreditation bodies across Europe, has been in the process of transforming work processes for a long time with the aim of their complete digitization as a prerequisite for transparency, efficiency, quick administrative response and provision of better quality services that will meet the needs of Conformity Assessment Bodies (CABs).

This activity will undoubtedly have an effect on the work of the TOS in terms of electronic communication and data processing with the Institute within the framework of the accreditation procedures, since full digitization is planned for the same from the submission of an application for accreditation to the issuance of a certificate.

For this purpose, we conducted research organized by: BAM – the German Federal Institute for Research and Testing in collaboration with the Technical University of Berlin (Chair for Innovation Economy), the Fraunhofer Institute for Systems and Innovation Research (ISI) and the University of Canterbury (New Zeeland), and the same is a comprehensive study on digitization in the conformity assessment sector.
