Under the motto Accreditation: “Supporting the future of the global trade”, with convenient celebration on 09 June 2023, the Institute for accreditation of the Republic of North Macedonia (IARNM) marked World Accreditation Day and the 20th anniversary of its establishing and work.
Numerous guests attended the event – representatives from the Government of Republic of North Macedonia, the Ministry of economy, the public and the private sector, scientific and educational institutions, health institutions, associates, representatives of the conformity assessment bodies and representative of the media.
In context on this year’s motto, the event was greeted by:
– Ms. Razmena Cekikj-Durlovikj – State Secretary at the Ministry of Economy,
– Mr. Mihajlo Evrosimovski, representative of the Union of the Economic Chambers of Macedonia and member of the Council of the Institute,
– PhD. Davor Zvizdić – President of the Croatian association of laboratories ,,CROLAB” and chairperson of the Technical Committee for Quality at EURAMET and
– Mr. Slobodan Chokrevski – Director of IARNM.
In front of the large audience, PhD.Davor Zvizdić held an expert lecture on “Infrastructure for quality and conformity assessment”.
Within the ceremony: the regular edition of the Bulletin for 2022 was promoted, which on the occasion of the two-decade anniversary of the establishment and work of the Institute contains a review of the most significant dates and steps in the development and work of IARNM, a brochure and video material on the topic of this year’s motto were promoted, dedicated brochures on ISO 37001 and ISO 27001 accreditation were also promoted and the Institute’s development plans were presented.Traditionally during the ceremony, the certificates to the accredited and reaccredited conformity assessment bodies in the period June 20 22 – May 2023 were granted.
Finally, on the occasion of the 20th anniversary of IARNM the plaques to the accredited conformity assessment bodies were granted, in which accredited conformity assessment bodies work according to different accreditation schemes, to the associates and some of the employees of IARNM who participated in the development and building of the Institute as the only national accreditation body in the country.
