On May 24, 2023, in Dubrovnik, within the framework of the session of the EA General Assembly, a Memorandum of Understanding in the field of accreditation was signed between the Institute of Accreditation of the Republic of North Macedonia (IARNM) and the National Accreditation Center of the Republic of Moldova (MOLDAC).
The signing of this Memorandum is an expression of the good will of the signatories for the establishment of informational, analytical and organizational cooperation in the field of accreditation, in compliance with the relevant documents of international and regional accreditation organizations. The main directions of cooperation are the exchange of experiences and information regarding the accreditation of conformity assessment bodies, mutual witnessing, exchange of assessors, organizing trainings, workshops, seminars and conferences on issues of common interest, strengthening the economic cooperation between the two economies, especially by eliminating technical barriers to trade through the conformity assessment process.
Simultaneously, with the signing of the Memorandum, the IARNM expands bilateral cooperation, which as a goal is contained in the Annual Work Program of IARNM in 2023 and is an integral part of the strategy for effective cooperation with national accreditation bodies around the world.
