On 8–9 April 2026, the Institute for Accreditation of the Republic of North Macedonia hosted representatives from Swedac, further strengthening the cooperation between the two institutions.
The visit was carried out in line with a pre-agreed agenda, covering:
- Presentation of the organisations
- Digitalisation
- International collaboration
- Preparedness
- EA and Global Accreditation Cooperation Incorporated
- Collaboration within the national Quality Infrastructure
- Collaboration between IARNM and Swedac
Special emphasis was placed on digitalisation and the application of artificial intelligence, reflecting their growing importance in modern accreditation systems.
Both institutions reaffirmed their commitment to continued cooperation and alignment of activities.
Despite the intensive agenda and constructive meetings, time was also set aside for the Swedish delegation to take a walk around Skopje and get to know the city more closely.
